This is one of the more complex tunes on the album and is built around a mix-meter vamp at a brisk tempo. Firing right out of the gates, this one is high energy all the way through. Drummer Tomas Fujiwara provides the perfect and insistent pulse underneath. It includes a short snippet of John Coltrane's Countdown during the guitar solo and the song peaks at the 'meltdown' before re-capping the melody. This tune is inspired and dedicated to my son Luke. It was written when he was only a few months old and we were never far from a countdown to meltdown! ~Marcus
